Over the last few weeks we have been busy working on a series of podcasts, led by our investment director, Chris Lloyd.
We set up the podcast to address a range of burning issues in the property sector, speaking to key influencers within the industry to get their candid views.
Episodes to date include:
– North West Office Market
This interview saw Andrew Gardiner, LSH office agency director, speak about the North West office market and where the Manchester city centre office market sits in comparison to other sectors such as BTR and logistics. He also gives his view of the markets in Chester, Warrington, Preston and Liverpool.
– Retail – what next?
Chris is joined by Des Pheby, owner of Pheby Food Concepts Group (which includes the Wok & Go franchise) to discuss the current state of the retail market from the viewpoint of Landlord and Tenants.
– Prop Tech & The Media
Paul Unger, Publisher and founder of Place North West and Place Tech speaks about his frustrations at how the property media perceives the role of journalists and also how Prop Tech is being embraced by the region’s property community.
– Hotels
Guy Butler talks to Alex Phillips, Property Director at GLH Hotels about how hotels work from a property perspective and GLH’s most recent project which has seen the conversion of the Cumberland Hotel to the Hard Rock Hotel on Marble Arch. With over 5,000 bedrooms they are the largest hotel owner operator in London.
