Completed in January 2021, BTR scheme VOX let up at a remarkable rate throughout the COVD epidemic, surpassing all letting targets.
The scheme, which focussed on sustainability and well being from the outset, was delivered for Barings with architect Sheppard Robson and Graham Construction.
The 280 apartments offer 1, 2 and 3-bed options, along with roof top amenity offering a residents’ lounge, gym and flexible wellness/cinema room. The landscaped rooftop garden attracts bees and provides views across Manchester.
We used VOX to benchmark Glenbrook’s carbon footprint, to form a base on which we can continuously improve. We were delighted to learn that VOX fell in line with LETI embodied carbon guidance, representing a 37% saving on typical high rise apartment development.
VOX was shortlisted in Wellness category in the national RESI Awards 2021.
