Completed in January 2021, BTR scheme VOX let up at a remarkable rate throughout the COVID pandemic, surpassing all letting targets.

The scheme, which focussed on sustainability and wellbeing from the outset, was delivered for Barings with architect Sheppard Robson and contractor Graham Construction. The 280 apartments offer one, two and three-bed options, along with roof top amenity offering a residents’ lounge, gym and flexible wellness/cinema room. The landscaped rooftop garden attracts bees and provides views across Manchester and to the Peak District.

We used VOX to benchmark Glenbrook’s carbon footprint, to form a base on which we can continuously improve. We were delighted to learn that VOX fell in line with LETI embodied carbon guidance, representing a 37% saving on typical high rise apartment development.

VOX was shortlisted in the Wellness category in the national RESI awards 2021.
